The following is a list of Rules and Expectations in the way [IGS]Clan members are expected to conduct themselves. Please give careful consideration to these and remember to abide by them. We hold each member at the highest of accountability for there actions, demeanor, and participation. You are representing an Elite Group who takes pride in honoring the Clan on a personal level through talent, game play, and friendship. If you can't abide by these rules, you will be discharged from the [IGS]Clan and your authenticity of membership will be announced as revoked with reasoning.

1. Cheating - Anyone caught cheating by using "enhancement" modifications to the game (aimbots / skin hacks / etc.), or map defects such as holes to hide in and snipe from, will be immediately discharged from the [IGS]Clan. All privileges from all IGS related servers will also be revoked. You as a member of the [IGS]Clan are looked upon to be setting an example, toleration of the above is set to 0. You are set to a higher level of accountability and of all people, and it would be a disgrace and let down to all other members if the above was found to be true. Don't do it, respect the Clan Name, and respect each other.

2. Respect - Clan members will be respectful to all players at all times. This includes answering non-clan members questions or directing them to the right place for help when asked. You have a duty to treat people like you want to be treated. You need to avoid getting involved with non-clan members who are looking for negative attention. You are required to not start or participate in negative attention and/or harassment of any kind. Assist those who might have a commonly known question concerning gameplay, or direct them with "hints" to help them become better players. Take the lead and excel at helping everyone enjoy the fun of fragging in a positive and non-judgmental way.

3. Dedication - Clan members are expected to have the highest level of dedication. You need to back your clan members in gameplay and on the website. This does not mean opinions can't differ. Resolutions to problems and differences will be handled in an appropriate way through a designated Clan council. Team spirit and doing things as an Elite Group should be foremost in your mind when you are fragging and posting within the forums. Teamwork and etiquette will be one main thing that IGS Admins will be watching. With this stated, this does not mean that when playing in general you are required to all join on the same team against non-members. Accountability and your demeanor is of the essence here. Use tact and common sense to defuse problems.

4. IGS Tags - You will be asked upon receiving confirmation of becoming a [IGS]Clan member to use the IGS Tag in front of your player name. This tag will be the following: [IGS]yourname

You will only assume 1 identity with that name, in other words, no name swapping, aliasing, etc. You will use this tag name on all aspects of IGS and its servers. You will use a non-offensive name. Clan members found to be using their tags on other servers while abusing the rules of the servers are subject to be punished within our servers / websites as well. Non-Clan members who assume the [IGS] tag will also be warned and if further non-compliance is shown, more severe action will be taken by Administration.

5. IP Verification - Your IP and GUID information will be recorded accordingly to our Clan database. This process is two fold. It will allow us to verify who you are and if anyone else is trying to assume your identity for malicious purposes. You will also need to submit via email to Steve or John your IP for final verification and authentication into the [IGS]Clan.

6. Trust - You are required to keep all activities, postings, Clan responsibilities, etc. private and confidential to all non-clan members. This Clan is centered on a circle of trust. Clan issues will not be discussed on any [IGS]Clan Servers in which all online populations play. The majority of the website will be locked to non-members. Members need to remember that their privileges with Clan related material are held sacred and confidential thus making the Clan what it is- Elite. Don't break this trust.

7. Participation - You are required to keep active on the IGS Clan website as well as game play. This involves regular posting, supportive demonstrations, creating new visions and ideas, and being a team player. Special events will be held and you are required to partake in these matters whenever possible. We understand that people do have very busy lives; however, several missed events are inexcusable. You may have assignments that need to be completed in a timely manner or an explanation needs to be posted of current project status.

8. Tact - Tact is a constant area for improvement and will be a requirement for all IGS Clan members. Using tact in dealing with differences in opinion will be vital. Going over to the forum end of our website, you are required to use tact when posting. Think before you post. Clan members need to take into consideration the other members feelings, thoughts, and ideas. Any members who choose not to heed this advice will be privately warned with examples given.

9. Offensive Talk - All IGS Clan members will not engage in offensive talk which can also be considered harassment. The usage of racial slurs, demeaning comments due to gender, etc. will not be tolerated. If another player and/or member reveals a concern, the member who is the accused offender will be required to reconcile with the complainant. If things can't be worked out in a civil manner, the issue will be taken to the Clan council for further private investigation and action.

10. Text / VoIP (Voice over IP) Abuse - Spamming text chat or doing useless / offensive things via VoIP will not be tolerated. As Clan members, your participation via internet chat sessions and meetings will be required. At this time it is encouraged to have a microphone in order to chat live within gameplay / chat room discussions. As “in game” voice chat may or may not be enabled at times, a TeamSpeak voice server will be available for all clan members to use.

11. Impersonation - All Clan members will have their own unique identity with personal identification qualities. Once a name is taken by a senior member, you will be required to not use it. In shorter form, make your name unique and out of respect don't use one already in existence pertinent to the Clan.

12. Administrative Oversight - As a Clan member, all people visiting the website will be able to view your mandatory profile and picture. This will remove any doubt within non-members minds of who we are, what we stand for, and the right to bare the IGS tag. The IGS Clan will pride itself on being a team effort and will run on the concept that everyone has a say in matters. The majority in cross differences will out vote the minority. These proceedings will be held in a respectful manner and tact will be used with those who don't get there ideas implemented. A Clan council will be addressing most of the IGS Clan's needs and decisions. Final resolution and decisions will be handled by the IGS Administrative leaders. Admins will be kept informed by the IGS Webmasters of pending issues / developments. The IGS Webmaster will keep the website up to date and will be responsible for daily responses and direction in a timely manner. IGS Admins will provide further assistance and will be available to help those requesting assistance or private concerns. Any position given within this Clan is on a voluntary basis and any attempts to gain user rights for malicious and/or profit gain will be grounds for immediate dismissal and banishment. Those who design and create projects for this Clan are giving the [IGS]Clan rights to solely use them for the betterment of the Clan. Time, effort, and energies put forth will be recognized within the [IGS]Clan Ranks and Structure system as well as privilege status.
